Introductory workshop to capturing, processing and printing of 3D data using Kinect cameras, generative tecniques, free software tools and Reprap 3D printers.
An introductory session will explain the basics of this technologies, the software that will be used during the practical session and interesting projects developed with this techniques. During the second day the workshop will be a hands on session where participants will work in small projects capturing data using Kinect cameras, modifying that data generatively using openFrameworks or Processing and treating the resulting data to be able to print it with the Reprap 3D printers, using tools like Meshlab and Blender.
After the first day session we'll have the 3rd openFrameworks meeting at ZZZINC, where members of the openFrameworks community in Barcelona join to talk about their work.
